I have dreamed of being a writer ever since I became obsessed with Louisa May Alcott in 4th grade, but I feel a bit like an imposter pretending to be one now. I am a high school ELA teacher to students in Brazil, and I live with my husband, two kiddos, three dogs, three cats, thirty-four chickens, six ducks, and two turkeys named Gatsby and Daisy on five acres in a small Missouri town named, oddly enough, Peculiar.
